Cavalese Church

The archpriest church of the Assunta is located in the park of Pieve in Cavalese, in Val di Fiemme. The gothic building is characterized by the soaring bell tower built in the seventeenth century by Giuseppe Alberti and the wooden coffered atrium with frescoes by the master Antonio Longo. The parish church dates back to 1112, but in the fifteenth century it was rebuilt in Romanesque-Gothic style.
