The Coe Pass Trenches

The Coe Pass (1,610m above sea level) is an alpine pass in the Venetian Prealps in the Autonomous Province of Trento. The pass, near the border with the province of Vicenza, links the towns of Tonezza del Cimone (Astico Valley) and Folgaria (Folgaria Plateau), and is an alternative route to the nearby Sommo Pass. The trenches, which can still be walked through to this day, date back to the Great War, and were used for combat between the Italian and Austrian armies.
